Who: Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development Scott Mueller (invited); Chair Jeffrey W. Hickman, Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education; Chancellor Glen D. Johnson; Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda; and representatives from Oklahoma’s participating higher education institutions

Background: The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education are partnering with Coursera to provide students, faculty and staff, and employers more opportunities for workforce and professional development at a reduced cost. Through the partnership, 15 participating colleges and universities will have access to Coursera’s comprehensive collection of more than 4,900 job-relevant courses across business, technology and data science, among other fields.
