Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents approved the permanent appointment of Dr. Pamela Fry to serve as provost and vice president for academic affairs at OSU-Tulsa, in addition to her duties as associate provost and associate vice president for the Stillwater campus. She had been serving OSU-Tulsa on an interim basis.

Fry has served as associate provost and associate vice president of undergraduate education at OSU since 2011. Previously, she served six years as dean of the OSU College of Education and three years as the head of the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership at OSU. Prior to moving to OSU in 2001, Fry served 12 years as a faculty member and as an administrator at the University of Oklahoma with appointments at the associate dean, department chair, and program chair levels. A full professor in the area of curriculum studies, Fry holds a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from OU, where she was named to her college’s inaugural hall of fame class known as the “75 Who Made a Difference.” Fry earned a master’s degree from OSU in applied behavioral studies and a doctoral degree in the area of curriculum and supervision. She was named her college’s outstanding graduate student at OSU in 1989.

Fry’s research agenda focuses on specific areas of analysis in teaching, learning, and curriculum at both the prekindergarten-12 and collegiate levels.
